Dr. Pinaki Ghosh is the Chief IP Advisor to Lance IP, offering over 20 years of expertise in innovation management and enterprise IP strategy. His background uniquely bridges high-level scientific research with national policy engagement. He holds a Master’s from IIT Kharagpur, a Ph.D. in Image Processing from the Indian Statistical Institute, and is currently pursuing a second Ph.D. in Law. Dr. Ghosh began his career at the DRDO Missile Division and later served as a researcher at General Electric, where he authored 20+ technical papers and filed 26 patents.
At Lance IP, Dr. Ghosh leverages his extensive corporate experience—notably scaling the global IP program at Infosys—to institutionalize robust IP policies and strategies for clients. A prominent figure in the IP ecosystem, he frequently lectures at premier academic institutions and serves on the core IP committees of CII, FICCI, and ASSOCHAM.
